n the early 19th Century, the preference among southern whiskey aficionados was for smooth, mellow bourbons. Golden in color and rich in taste, Rebel Yell Bourbon is made according to the original W L Weller “wheated” bourbon recipe and method in one of Kentucky's oldest distilleries, satisfying the refined tastes of southern gentlemen for decades.

Strong but slow-spoken, Rebel Yell takes time to age and mellow, so take your time to relish the fine, deep flavor of one of America's most authentic bourbon whiskeys.

Rebel Yell Bourbon Characteristics

Nose: Honey, butter, raisins

Mouth: A big, round body with a palette that directly follows the nose – honey, butter and just a hint of dark fruit (plums, raisins). The finish is long, warm and interesting in that a touch of spiciness, not present in the palette comes into play.

Overall: This is a good bourbon with a definite style. Drink it from a shot glass or maybe even a snifter, but best over ice with no water, no club soda. Nothing. Rebel Yell Bourbon is well-balanced and shouldn’t be tampered with unless you wish to make a very good Manhattan.
